On-Campus

Campus Emergencies Involving Animals:

For sick, injured or lost animals on the UTSA campus please do not hesitate calling for assistance – the longer you wait the less likely we will be able to rescue or help the animal. Sick or lost animals are easily disoriented and at high risk for injury.

Contact the UTSA Police Department at 458-4242 or the UTSA Facilities Work Control Office at 458-4262. They will secure the animal and contact us.

Animal Placement Resources:

The Roadrunner Cat Coalition does not have a shelter and cannot accept any animals. Dumping or abandoning animals on campus is against the law. For help finding a home for your pet or a stray animal, please refer to the list of local resources for area shelters or adoption groups that can assist you.

Spay and Neuter Assistance:

For low-cost spay, neuter and vaccination services contact SpaySA, SNAP, Hill Country Animal League, San Antonio Humane Society, or the Animal Defense League of Texas – information on these organizations is listed under “Local Resources.”
